Your spending in three steps
- Download your purchase history from Amazon: Request your data → Your Orders (how).
- Drop the ZIP above. The Totals tab opens with a bar chart per year.
- Click a year to see its months. Use the filters to look at one marketplace, physical or digital orders, or a search term — totals follow the filters.
Want one number for your whole account? The lifetime total adds up every year, digital orders included, and shows it next to your refunds.
How “spent” is calculated
- Per item, Amazon's own number. The viewer uses the
Total Owedcolumn (Total Amountin exports since February 2026,Item Totalin the old order report). Amazon fills it for every item: price × quantity + tax + shipping − discounts. - Computed only when empty. If a row has no total, it is calculated from
(Unit Price + Unit Price Tax) × Quantity + Shipping Charge − Total Discountsand marked with ≈. - Cancelled orders are left out of the totals unless you tick Count cancelled orders.
- One total per currency. Dollars, euros and pounds are never added together.
- Refunds (from the refunds file in the ZIP) are listed separately; each currency shows what you spent, what was refunded and the difference.
- Dates are taken as written in the file. Amazon writes order times in UTC (the
Zin2024-03-05T14:22:11Z), so an order placed late on 31 December in America can count for 1 January.
What the totals show
- Total spent, number of orders, number of items and the average order, per currency.
- A bar chart of spending per year and, for the selected year, per month.
- Top products by amount spent, and top sellers when the file names them (the old order report does; the current export usually doesn't).
- Refunded amounts per currency when the ZIP contains a refunds file.
Frequently asked questions
Does the total include tax and shipping?
Yes. Amazon's per-item total includes tax and shipping and subtracts discounts. That is the number being added up.
Are refunds subtracted?
Not from spent. Refunds come from a separate file in the ZIP and are shown next to it, with the difference, so you can see both.
Why are there several totals?
One per currency. If you shop on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, you see a USD total and a GBP total; they are never converted or mixed.
Does it work with Amazon.co.uk, .de, .ca and other countries?
Yes. Columns are recognised by name, and every marketplace keeps its own currency. Totals are never added up across currencies: you get one total for USD, one for EUR, one for GBP and so on.
Is my order history uploaded anywhere?
No. The ZIP or CSV is read by JavaScript in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored after you close the tab.
Do I have to sign in or connect my Amazon account?
No. You download the file from Amazon yourself and open it here. This site never asks for your Amazon password and has no access to your account.
